Description
This Colt revolver set features a beautifully matched pair of Single Action Army revolvers: a full-size Third Generation SAA in .45 Long Colt, and a Colt Frontier Scout chambered in .22 LR. Both were manufactured in 1964 and finished in an elegant blue and nickel dual-tone, fitted with eye-catching Pearlite grips.
Both revolvers are in excellent condition, retaining 99%+ original finishes with only faint cylinder drag lines and minimal handling marks. Mechanically, both are excellent. The set includes a shared leatherette display case, and each revolver comes with an extra engraved nickel-plated cylinder, individually numbered to match the guns—an uncommon and desirable feature that elevates this set’s presentation value.
This matched set is a rare opportunity for Colt collectors or fans of classic Western-style wheelguns, especially with both centerfire and rimfire calibers represented in near-flawless condition. Curio & Relic eligible.
